Republicans in Congress have done nothing to create jobs. Congressman Lungren actually voted to put almost 100,000 workers off the job by shutting down Airport Construction Projects funded in the FAA Authorization. CWA members canvassed homes in key neighborhoods yesterday, asking constituents to voice their opposition to the FAA shutdown.

A lot was happening on the evening of the second Democratic Debate! Nurses turned out for Bernie in Iowa and marched in the streets. Dr. Cornell West spoke to them from the tailgate and Bernie Sanders himself showed up to say hello!

July 14, 2014 - Voting proceeded smoothly as the students orderly casted their votes for their preferred candidates. The casting of votes started at 9am and lasted until 3 pm. After the tireless and hardworking student COMMELEC, led by chairwoman Ms. Alyssalene Raja, canvassed the votes until completion at 7pm. Special thanks to the COMMELEC for their dedication to their work.
