A shot made of hurry moments capturing the beautiful sky display of God's wonderful tapestry of sunset's hue. Totally AMAZING!

Fun-loving couple from Kamloops at the Winter Farmer's Market. If they set up for face painting at the market next week I'd like to be their first customer.

Today was a mild day and being at the farmer's market reminded me so much of summer.

The Spolarium was a huge canvass done in the best salon manner of the 19th century. It won the highest award at the National Exposition of Fine Arts of Madrid in 1884.

These canvasses were originally in place of the butterfly prints on Stella's wall. They are plain white canvasses which i covered in fabric from Lincraft by simply staple gunning it to the back.

Ultimately i felt that the prints clashed with her fabric letters, so it was bye-bye canvasses, hello butterflies.

A covering of snow highlights the spectacular Coldberry Gutter, Teesdale, high in the North Pennines AONB. Originally created by glacial melt water action, this huge notch in the hillside was extensively worked by lead mining in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Spoil heaps and remnants of other workings known as hushing can be seen towards the bottom of the picture.
