The Canadian Forces Snowbirds demonstration squadron perform a low show at CFB Borden.

I had a bit of foresight and a bit of luck in getting this photo, as I was in the perfect spot to try this composition knowing that the team would do a couple overhead passes.

I think the solo curling out on the left hand side just adds a bit more to the photo, filling in what would otherwise be empty space.

Not a lot of wiggle room!

SAR Crews from CFB Comox regularly fly in for pie at the Chilliwack Airport restaurant. When the light is right, they provide a nice photo op!

HMCS Montréal is a Halifax-class frigate that has served in the Canadian Forces since 1993. Seen here as she sails down the Clyde in Scotland out towards the Sea to take part in Ex Joint Warrior 17/2.

Supposedly today was the last operational day for the Sea Kings. This is part of a lackluster fly-past by four of the type. I was hoping they'd form up in echelon so I could capture all of them at once.

This Sea King is the one that will be preserved here when the type is retired at year's end. It is in retro Navy markings to represent CHSS-2 serial number 4017. The top of the ILS mast provides an indication of the degree of pitch-up on a practice auto-rotation.
