"Too close" is what it was apparently!
While we were settling down in the dark and lonely tent, we heard lots of squealing....
A group of kids had come for an evening of wall climbing. Phew!!
Camp Caro Community Park serves as the gateway to the Dishman Hills Natural Area. Located just south of the Sprague commercial corridor in the eastern portion of the Valley, Camp Caro contains a maintained lawn bordered by the rising bluffs and rock outcroppings of the Dishman Hills Natural Area. Camp Caro Lodge is available on a reservation basis May 14th through September 17th annually to private groups and is a popular place to hold events.
This is my only photo from our camping trip. It was cold and rainy the whole time till the last day. So as we were winding things up to leave, I quickly took this shot. I still had a wonderful and relaxing time though!
oh, how this would have been made awesome had it been shot with a long exposure..but, alas.. i did not have my tripod.

Camping at Willy's farm in the Ogwen Valley during 1977. The peak in the background is Tryfan at 3010 feet.
There is one perfect camp spot just below the summit with fabulous views. It was a bit of a gamble going up there, but we were lucky to find this spot. shared with pixbuf.com
