On the roof of the World, at 5000 meters in the Himachal Pradesh mountains, close to Sarchu, I've found this little particular tents camp. The contrast of their rich pink tones has captured my curiosity while the I was looking the sky that was rapidly changing, while was painting the tall moutains with light and shadows.

Butte Valley is over the hill and the mountains beyond are the eastern Panamints. The trail over the hill goes to Stella's camp and to the chairs.

For several reasons, I prefer to stay at Russell's when I am in Butte Valley. I would love to be there now.
