Down by the pier on the Halifax waterfront a few weeks ago at dawn. Another pinhole camera photo. Ilford Delta 100 film.
"You can't shoot here! You have big cameras!" OK, let's see what we can do… Photo from the iPhone 6+. Used the Manual camera app to keep the ISO low.
Very simple homemade 6x9 view camera. The ground glass back and film holder are from a Graflex XL. The chassis uses a threaded rod for focusing. This is the same chassis design as my 6x17 camera. The bellows was found at a surplus store. I think it is a Graflex 4x5 replacement bellows. Cut it short for this camera.
The yellow of straw stalks and gone-to-seed weeds against the white snow lure me outside with the camera despite the freezing temps. Add a bit of red bared willows and the winter Wyoming sky and I'll be out to play.
