A boy rests on the ground while Greek riot police approach. In mid-April 2016 a series of violent clashes broke out when refugees tried to break through the border and threw rocks over the fence at Macedonian guards. The Greek authorities responded by forming lines and trying to push people back from the border.

Raine in one of her calmer moods. And yea, that's one of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers behind, right before they got beat by the Riders in the Banjo Bowl!
This drawing was created as a meditation for myself. It contains the letters "RUHE" which mean "silence" and/or "calmness" in German.
Also it may seem unsteady while watching it gave me quite a lot of "Ruhe" while drawing it.

Looking back not so very far ago, different reflections were present, each year they improve, reflections that is. There is a difference between reflections and memories.

Baby Trenton was moving very harshly this day. It sometimes hurts the ribs and other inside things. He usually calms down to music and rubbing.
Seeing a gorgeous, calming sunset this evening over the city. Loving the subtle pinks near the horizon. Just less than 24 hours earlier, the place was quite stormy! It was the sunset calm after a storm(s)... Pic taken from around San Jose, CA from around the Eastridge Mall parking lot areas by JCPenney. (Thursday around late sunset, January 17, 2019; 5:23 p.m.)
*Weather scenario for January 17 and onward:
A large low pressure area was off the coast & was generating bands of copious amounts of rain & sending them across Northern California. This was our 3rd strongest & last storm system to hit us during this unsettled, stormy week with heavy rain, high winds, heavy mountain snow & even t-storms. Even lightning was seen around Morgan Hill the previous night but unfortunately, I didn’t capture it on film. This day of Thursday, January 17, we have observed the remnants & leftover moisture left behind from this system’s main, strong cold front. Even isolated t-storms have drifted over parts of the Bay Area during the morning hours. This low was finally moving slowly eastward. Winds have also diminished significantly by late afternoon. The precipitation was to turn to showers late & taper off during the overnight hours. By the very next day, Friday, we were to have partly cloudy skies with a few leftover showers mainly over the foothills & mountains. By Saturday, we were to see partly cloudy skies & then more rain Sunday as a low pressure trough moves thru. By Monday thru most of next week, high pressure was to be along the coast resulting in mostly clear skies with above normal temps. It’s really a much-needed break from all the rains…
