Gonna have a small vacation next two weeks. Travel calling me again:-)
Here you can see the clouds above Atlantic ocean in Fortaleza, Brazil. One of the most beautiful and exotic countries I've been to. Hope to visit this land again one day.
Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends.
Two oriental pied hornbills (anthracoceros albirostris) calling from the top of a tree. The bird on the right of the image was noticeably smaller than the one on the left - perhaps its offspring. Photographed on Hat Yao Noi, Phang Nga, Thailand.

Pair Bonding
This is another new pair for us
While she sat on the branch and offered encouraging calls, the male, on the right, flew up and down the tree-line in rising and diving circuits. Calling as he went.
He then landed and she continued to give him encouragement.
Interesting that they are both light toned birds.
After few minutes of discussion, they decided on another trip around the tree-line together and headed across the nearby river to sit and call at one another again.

When He calls them, the dead rise up from the shadows and come to see what all the ruckus is that woke them up. :P
Angels are calling
We still watch over you
By day and through the night
We would never leave you
In your darkest hours
You can always rely on us
If you feel alone
And terribly afraid
Know we are with you
Even if its just for a little while
For every one of you
There is one of us
Looking after you
In this life and the next
It is the same love
That we bestow on you
You might glimpse us
In your car
Or on the bus
Not just in churches
Or in a carol service
But maybe at the last minute
Not expected
With no fuss
The face of a kind stranger
Or someone you thought you knew
One you once lost…
Believe and it will be true

I can see from the reaction to my first Easter work in this series I am going to be doing some serious catching up when it is done! Thank you all in the meantime, for all your wonderful support.
This is the second work I am showing for my Easter Series for 2023. This one is something to reflect upon in that in-between time when uncertainty can prey on your mind, before Easter Sunday brings an outpouring of joy.
And this image was again taken in Ocklynge Cemetery in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK.
I have paired this work with ‘If God Will Send His Angels’ by U2, because it was perfect.
And if you would like to see more of my work have a look at my website at:

It is said that on a clear day you can see Birmingham from the top of the BT Tower... sorry about that Birmingham.

This was taken over a month ago and have not had time to post it! This is a male Green Heron dressed in his finest mating plumage attempting to attract a mate on Horsepen Bayou! Let's hope that he was successful!

These lovely Plovers seem to be doing very well on the Northern moors and I saw a lot of these recently in the Yorkshire Dales and thankfully a lot of youngsters running around as well.
You don't see these sparrows as often as the other species in Carden Alvar. It was nice to capture this guy and singing!

I heard this bird some time before seeing it, by the lakeside on Lake Nicaragua. The Nicaraguan grackle (quiscalus nicaraguensis) is found only in Nicaragua and, more recently, in neighbouring Costa Riica.

Somewhere in the course of reconfiguring my computer over the last two weeks so I could play other games without completely frying my CPU, I messed up my settings so I can no longer take absurdly large shots. Sadly, 4K is going to be the new normal from now on.
Sunrise Landscape at Calling Panther Lake in Copiah County Mississippi. 500 acre state managed public lake with hybrid bream & bass. Great fishing & atmosphere at least it was then.
The sound of a flute under the shadow of an ancient oak tree summoned the spirits from the world of Navi. They came to the call and their bodies faintly flicker under the protection of the powerful sign of the pentagram. A man from the world of Yav` wants to know the answers to his questions and ask for help from the souls of his ancestors. And only the little Squirrel, the embodiment of the divine, attentively observes what is happening, ready to show the power of her Totem at the right time.

Being retired, I don't have a business card, so I guess this would be considered a calling card. I took the photo of Mt Tamalpais for the card from our front yard several years ago.
I revisited some of my past Africa images... I think Africa is calling for my return!
