Japanese calligraphy for the New Year (2020). The author of this calligraphy is still in 12th grade, so she should be only 17 or 18 years old, but her calligraphy is so mature and powerful that it's hard to imagine that she is so young. This piece of work won the first prize in the New Year's calligraphy competition awarded by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan (Enryakuji Temple, Shiga/Kyoto, Japan).
