Just felt like working on one of the Calla Lily images I took a few weeks ago. Hope to get it planted in my front yard this weekend. I used a little Mixer Brush in this one.

Habitat: Growing in a long time abandoned and overgrown artificial bog in mixed forest, wet flat acid terrain, mostly in shade, partly protected against direct rain by tree canopies, average precipitations ~ 1.400-1.500 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 340 m (1.100 feet), prealpine phytogeographical region.

 

Substratum: soil.

 

Place: Ljubljana, RoĹľnik hill, Mostec place near Town Zoo, Slovenia EC

 

Protection: Enlisted in the Slovene Red List of rare and endangered species, marked by "E" representing a critically endangered species. Only a few remaining places still known in Slovenia.
