The background wasn't this dark, but the phonecam couldn't handle the dynamic range. Sometimes, limitations produce the most pleasant results...
My new Moto X Pure Edition phone arrived and I spent the day setting it up. I got all my apps from my old phone OK, but the little things mess you up. I wanted to make a phone call, but my contacts list was empty. Took me a few minutes to realize my contacts sync was turned off. Then, I decided my Photo of the Day should be from my new phone with its 21 Mp camera, but I couldn't figure out how to attach the phone to my computer to download (upload?) the pictures. After googling several sites, I finally got the correct answer. So, here is the first public appearance of a picture from my new phone.
