I think this is a calla, planted just outside my back door. First time, I've seen it flower.

I planted these set of Calla Lilies early winter of 2008. Happy to see the flowers in 3 months :)

I really love the color version of this with the purple on the edges of the leaves but there was some orange in the background and it was really distracting. I like this abstract though.

I really like how these calla lily shots turned out. I had a tough time deciding which one I liked better. This one has nice curves and I like the sky as a background.

Strobist: snooted canon 430EX, 1/16 power held by wife to side. (I really need a light stand as I think my wife is getting tired of doing this.) Plus for this shot piece of while foam was held to right (also by wife) close to flower.

I made this shot at the Botanic Garden in Berlin. An amazing place where you can spend hours!
