This is the main crater of the active Poås Volcano in Costa Rica named hot lagoon (Laguna Caliente in Spanish). This is one of the most acidic lakes in the world with a pH of nearly 0. No aquatic life has been found in it yet acidophiles are most likely the only organisms that inhabit it.

This building "grows" up the side of a largely mountain. As a result, there are levels/rises as such. Its very neat.
