Caleb Carruth led worship this past Sunday at Bent Tree Fellowship in Carrollton, TX. Absolutely gorgoeous voice for such a little dude! (no offense to Caleb I am just a fat guy so I guess everyone is little!
Bio:
Caleb Carruth began his music career in 1997 as the second half of the acoustic/folk duo known as Shane and Caleb. While attending college at Texas A&M University, Caleb was introduced to Shane Barnard's (Shane & Shane) music. They quickly became friends and began work on their freshman album, "Salvation Still Remains". In support of their first album they began touring around the country playing concerts, and leading worship for numerous venues and organizations.
In 2002, Caleb released his first solo album, "Darkness Falls", a collection of storied songs and worship tunes.
Caleb now lives with his wife in Frisco, TX and attends Bent Tree Bible Fellowship where he serves on the Worship and Arts team and as one of the worship leaders. He travels throughout the country leading worship for various churches, camps, college groups, and retreats as well as traveling on several mission trips around the world throughout the year.
Nashville photographer Caleb will be one of 30 bachelors chasing Canadian Jillian Harris on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette on ABC. The series launches May 18.

Garbage Generation (2019) is a body of work consisting of small scale dioramas constructed on top of discarded non-biodegradable waste products. The discarded waste collected acts as a self-portrait of the consumer, showing that ‘we are what we eat’. By recycling and reusing rubbish, Garbage Generation regains ownership over these forgotten objects, inscribing value and giving them a second life.
By mixing miniature scale objects with real sized rubbish in Garbage Generation, the trash becomes colossal and monumental. The reversal of scale in the work allows the viewer to take back control over the intangible and incomprehensible bodiless Hyperobject that is mass pollution. Garbage Generation leaves the viewer face to face with our usual ‘out of sight, out of mind’ approach to waste management. The hope for the work is to open a dialogue concerning our contemporary society’s throw-away mentality towards valuable materials

This was the son of a guy I stayed with when I came back to the US in 1999. Caleb was a senior in High school in this photo- 18 years old. He is now married, has adaughter, and a college degree and lives in Kentucky.
