With lyrical musings over lonely, twangy guitar, heartbreak never felt so good as it does with Caleb Travers. He performed at Harvest Sessions, a free summer concert series presented by KDHX and the Whitaker Foundation.

Nominally an "alternative country artist," Travers recently released his debut CD Blue Weathered Dreams. On that album, familiar, melancholy memories like staring at the "dirty morning light through a motel room window" come alive through Travers's mournful vocal delivery. Appearing with Caleb was peddle steel guitarist Scott Swartz (who also plays with the Linemen).
