The Calcott Brothers Ltd. built cycles and motorcycles, and made their first car in 1913. This 10hp 1921 Calcott Cabriolet, AW 9653, was one of their best cars with around 2,500 being made. It has a 1200cc, 4 cylinder engine, a ‘Dickey’ seat, and cost £200 new. This car is on display in the Coventry Transport Museum.

- The 1967 and 1968 models are recognizable by their rectangular turn signals (front).
- The Caravelle was a source of inspiration for the designers of the BMC in the design of the MGB.
