The owner was enjoying the roof down on a sunny spring day. Seen on the same day as the Avant and also a Coupe which I wasn't able to capture.
1939 Delahaye Type 165 Cabriolet. This car was built to represent France at the 1939 World Fair in New York and the display model did not have an engine. It was impounded by US Customs during WWII. After, it was purchased and got an engine. It was abandoned and bought cheap in the 1970s, and restored. DSC5580
Seen here leaving the show later in the day. It was for sale at 4500 Euros, seems reasonable for a tidy example on nice aftermarket alloys?
A cheerful lady posing in the driver's seat of a BMW in a rundown urban backstreet. The elegant two-tone convertible looks strangely out of place in the shabby setting. I purchased this badly damaged vintage photograph from a German online vendor. The car is registered in the Prussian province of Silesia (IK = Provinzen Ober- und Niederschlesien).

This is my third try with Peter's DIY automotive rig. Peter couldn't make it to the session this time so I had to set it up all by myself (almost).... It felt like it took years without him..
I tried a different background and I think it turned out pretty cool. =)
There were one or two interesting cars opposite the odd SsangYong, perhaps linked to it formerly being a garage?
At the entrance of the Traction Avant event we could look out on this great Renault, while standing in line for the parking.
