A look inside the completed Astaroth PC build, after a bit of cable management work and RGB lighting configuration.
I was told this was exclusive to the MacBook. Wonder why it's not universal. Seems like a more elegant solution, it's stainless steel so it matches the MacBook Pro line, and keeps out of the way.
"Command Strip" cord bundler from 3M. It attaches to the sideboard by an adhesive strip and can hold a lot of cable.
This is the back of the sideboard seen from the chair side. The cord bundler is towards the top.
There is a cut-out hole toward the bottom for cooling the electronics inside, but it still gets pretty hot in there, so I might add a quiet fan, or more holes.
The cables here are fed into the Signum cable trunking system attached to the underside of the desk.
The powerboard, modem and router sit within the Vika Furusund table leg.
Integrated brush strips for cable management (I have a lot!) - there is also a shelf and a row of cable clips beneath, so it looks fairly neat even when it's fully loaded!

This is right next to the wall socket, so there is a lot of cable here. We found a suitable vase at a furniture store and put a lot of it in there.
Since there's a chair in front of it, you don't see it from this angle unless you really try.

This was the beginning of the end for me. Did some cable management on the screens and in the process started reading forum posts on the same.
That led me onto cable sleeving, and in turn to the MASSIVELY build.
Previous office: We'll call this photo "BEFORE". Nearly everything in this office ended up in the new office. And yet it cleaned up so nicely.
