October is finally here and fall has always been my favorite season! I love the changing of the leaves. The chill in the air makes it the perfect time of year for wearing sweaters!
This is one of my favorite style of sweaters, I have this in quite a few colors, but cream is a perfect autumn color. I'm also wearing a fabulous pair of jeans and one of my favorite pairs of boots.

I saw a shot on the flickr blog that I liked and decided to go for an 'in the fridge' type thing, particularly as I have previously taken a shot looking the other way
I only spent a few minutes taking the shot so I didn't really have much to play with hence why I look particularly gormless in this shot
for processing;
I accentuated the lens distortion making it slightly more like a fish eye lens
Dodged and burned my eyes
Used a radial blur on the fringes of the picture
Added a lens blur to the extremities of the picture
Slected the highlights from the green channel, inverted the selection and then pasted it in as a layer and set the blend mode to 'Difference'
Added some colour balance layers to exaggerate colours in certain areas
Stamped visible and de-saturated the image, then applied a high pass filter and set the layer to soft Light (for sharpening)

It was cold and windy outside so despite wearing my navy cableknit tight and Docs, I decided to remain indoors for most of my walk. Here is my favourite store department: ladies shoes!

my brother and his girlfriend got us all hideous glasses and sweaters from the thrift store as a joke gift for christmas. they are kinda great. the title is a reference to dwight shrute form the office cause his glasses look a bit like these.

I threw this outfit on a few minutes ago because it's Earth Hour & I felt too sloppy being in pajamas while the beautiful world is darkening around me.
