FYI: What you see is a nailbrush and each string measures 0,16mm thickness. The Scissors of the tiny little helper is about 3-4mm. Size of the visible helper is aprox. 10-12mm.
A nailbrush is a small brush designed specifically for cleaning and scrubbing the fingernails and toenails. It typically has short, stiff bristles that help remove dirt, debris, and bacteria from under the nails and the surrounding areas. Nailbrushes come in various shapes and sizes, but they generally have a compact design that fits comfortably in the hand.
Using a nailbrush is a common practice during personal hygiene routines, especially when washing hands or feet. The bristles help to clean the nails thoroughly and promote good nail health. Nailbrushes are often found in bathrooms and are a handy tool for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Some nailbrushes may have additional features, such as a built-in handle for easier grip, or they may be part of a grooming or manicure set. Overall, nailbrushes are simple yet effective tools for maintaining clean and healthy nails.

A Nittany and Bald Eagle crew shoves into the Glenn O. Hawbaker quarry and transload facility outside Pleasant Gap, PA. The two Geeps are using the rail spur cut into the rock under Pennsylvania Route 26 to reach the small yard (which has it's own EMD pup in Hawbaker colors).
Up front today is a North Shore Railroad cousin, the Lycoming Valley Railroad No. 9052. Seen here just shy of it's 60th birthday, the EMD GP20 started out in 1958 as MILW 2373, a GP9. If I did my homework right, the blue paint came from its days on the Georgetown Railroad in Texas before it came to Central Pennsylvania and the North Shore.
The Culebra Cut, also known at the Gaillard Cut), is a narrow 14-kilometer stretch of the Panama Canal through the Continental Divide. Ships must travel single file in one direction.
A series of sketches of the Argyle Cut in ink felt pen and pencil. top LH is the original sketched on site. The cutting was excavated in sandstone by hand, in 1867 and allowed easy access between The Rocks and Millers Point
Cut grass lies frail:
Brief is the breath
Mown stalks exhale.
Long, long the death
It dies in the white hours
Of young-leafed June
With chestnut flowers,
With hedges snowlike strewn,
White lilac bowed,
Lost lanes of Queen Anne's lace,
And that high-builded cloud
Moving at summer's pace.

MHM - Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr, Dresden.
A highly impressive museum regarding military issues in very differnt aspects. (like exhibitions: fashion and war or toys and war)
Architect Daniel Liebeskind design concept cut the historic building in half (outside and inside !!!) A giant blade points into the directing were the fire bombing on Dresden started during WWII. Like the city by this bombing raid the building is cut.
the blade shaped part of the building consists of different material than the rest of the Museum. Wherever you are inside you can realise you are in the "blade".
Wikipedia: "The Bundeswehr Military History Museum is the military museum of the German Armed Forces, the Bundeswehr, and one of the major military history museums in Germany. It is located in a former military arsenal in the Albertstadt which is part of Dresden. After a long history of switching titles and approaches to military history, the museum was re-opened in 2011 with a new internal and external concept. The museum focuses on the human aspects of war, while also showcasing the evolution of German military technology."
This channel has been cut through the marshes on the Norfolk coast at Blakeney in order to improve access from the sea to the town's quay. At one time the charming village of Blakeney was a very important port in North Norfolk, but this part of the coast has silted up over the centuries to form marshland, and only small boats can now reach the sea at high tide via a series of narrow creeks or channels. On the left of the picture are Morston Salt Marshes.
I want to smell a turf fire. I have no open fire in my house any more, but I do love the smell of burning peat.
This is a bog that was cut just today. The turfs will lie in the sun to dry for several weeks and then they will be turned, and stacked.
They will be brought home later in the Summer and burned in the winter.

Our Golden Elm in the front yard had a big branch crack during the night after continuous rain. Fortunately it came down slowly, in stages, and just rested on the roof. Had professionals cut it back for us in the daylight.
