Jasper tries out his new curls girls wig. Or is it that Mom hugged him from behind? Maybe the latter. But Jasper looks good in curls, ya?

Made with a Konica AR Hexanon 50mm f1.4 mounted on a Panasonic GF-1 for those who care about such things. I like the warmer character of this early 1960s lens over more contemporary designed-for-digital lenses. Though this image was made at f1.4, it sharpens rapidly until at f2.8 it’s razor sharp. A distinguishing characteristic is the particularly lovely bokeh, though shooting with it is a bit challenging since it back focuses a bit as well as underexposes about half a stop or so.

A wave crashing on the Palos Verdes coastline.
I was shooting from a point of land that juts out quite a bit further from shore than the surrounding areas, which causes less interference for the waves and made them quite large in this spot. With each wave water was spraying off of the top of the curl and I used a fast shutter speed to capture the individual droplets as clearly as possible.
Photo taken at Honeymoon Cove in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (USA).
there was a little girl, who had alitlle curl on her forehead, when she was good she was good, but when she was bad she was horrid!! ( old nursery rhyme)

Every so often, one must post a straightforward shot of one's stunning daughter because she never takes a bad photo and because it's the best time of year to showcase the curls and their golden highlights and finally because her depth and beauty really cannot be "captured" but merely glimpsed... and so here's a glimpse.

Magic Curl Barbie is in the middle, the other two Barbies are there to model the extra clothes :) There was also a fashion in the stuff I got from my husband's cousin! I was so happy to find out who this Barbie was! Thank you! You know who you are :) She got her spa day and I couldn't be more happy about her!
Yet another picture of Colin. It seems to be that my entire flickr is full of pictures of him. Oh well, he's beautiful. Colin had just taken a shower before this picture was taken, and despite the facade he likes to give off that he has perfectly poker-straight hair, he actually has some of the most amazing curls on the planet after washing! So I decided to take a picture, even though he hates the fact his hair is naturally curly, but I love it.

Magic Curls Doll from 1982.
She came with the Magic Mist, it is a powder to mix with water and when you wash her hair with the mixture the hair turns straight, then if washed only with water the hair turns curly again. Tons of fun when you are little (when your mum allows you to play with water)
