When my oldest was a baby she had this ringlet curl that dropped down the middle of her forehead. When I saw my little guy with this one the other day, it totally took me back.
While shooting a crab spider I found this small worm curled up in a flower bud. Looks like a comfortable place for a nap.
This is a clouds shot I should have edited already and added to my stash. I bet that I can find another scenic that needs this sky After several recent days without skies and cold, I searched the unedited takes for something of a sky. I think this sky is signaling a toasty afternoon. This was a late spring shot at Golden Ponds although we already suffered four days in May in the 80s. It looks like more.
As of now, the usual areas, Aspen. Vail and Golden Ponds, are open if you desire a skiing vacation. Most areas got more snow this week. Most areas are on federal forest land and there, federal not Colorado's, drug laws apply to marijuana smoking. Oklahoma just busted 4,000 pounds on the way to Texas. All I can say is that Texans should learn to ski and take skiing vacations but return home after. Please... don't move here! We are over loaded w/ pot-heads for the dope and hops-heads for the record numbers of micro-brews.
Sunrise at Curl Curl on this morning's FOCUS shoot. There wasn't much happening with the sky, so it was just a matter of waiting for the sun to appear to light up the beach. Great catching up with some of the crew, and nice to meet a couple of new members of the group.

I love the pose and most of all I love those curls so cute.
Took Ruby for a walk and had my macro lens on so concentrated on the curled and brown leaves and at the end just one of the sky and trees.
Last of the Italian PT50 hydrofoils built for Sydney Harbour in 1973 , the Curl Curl in January 1984 .
I captured this flower while visiting the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, FL. I love the bright orange color and the turned-up leaf that reminded me of a curled-up lip.
