The reds were painted with a Mechrite red basecoat, several Mechrite red/Blood red highlights and some Blazing orange linings on the edges and details. The skin is painted with a basecoat of Tallarn flesh and then several layers of Tallarn flesh and Astronomican grey were added; the Astronomican grey was then added until the final layer is pure grey; a thin wash of Asurmen blue and a very thin wash of Hormagaunt purple were added. The "golden" metals were painted with a basecoat of Shining gold and then several light washes of Charadon granite and Dark flesh were added; washes of Hawk turqouise and Hawk Turquoise with Skull white (75/25) were added at the recesses. The "silver" metals have several washes of Charadon granite, Dark flesh and Vermin brown.

The final outcome to the observational drawing project; line-up presented on an A1 sheet, then edited on Photoshop. These would be created using egg shell or ivory fabric and thick, moulded plastic for the tubing and chest plates, the trousers (from left to right) would be sheer silk, combat work-wear and compression running tights. The trainers would be metal platted.

An experimentation using paint mixtures, creating abstract landscapes. The way in which I poured the mixture on liberally, allowed the liquid to form its own patterns. Whilst I initiated the process of creating this piece and aided its movement, it was important that I watched the interaction of the different paints.
