This beauty's a show-stopper! A deep V-shaped netted pattern constructed from silver-plated chain and jump rings, adorned with faceted crystal briolettes on sterling silver wire and finished with a handmade S-clasp. The "arms" measure about 14" long while the "V" is another 6" -- best to be worn with a plunging neckline! This would work great as bridal jewelry for the bride who dares to wear something stunning!

Crystal Ball Refraction Photography
Pros of refraction
A glass ball is cheaper than a lens and allows you to create a fish-eye like effect.
You can move the ball to different positions in your scene.
Using a large aperture in conjunction with the ball to create bokeh, is great for minimalism.
Scenes created with a crystal ball often have a more artistic feel.
The ball creates a natural frame for your photo.
Cons of refraction
The larger glass balls are heavy to carry, in an already heavy camera bag.
You need a macro lens, something a landscape photographer may not normally carry.
Distortion on the edge of the ball.
It’s difficult to get a sharp image inside the ball.
The image in the ball is upside down.

My friend, Peter took me to the King Edward Hotel this afternoon. Intrepid law-breakers that we are, we spent some time exploring the abandoned Crystal Ballroom on the 17th floor of the hotel.

Crystal Palace Park is a Victorian pleasure ground, used for cultural and sporting events. It is located in the south-east London suburb of Crystal Palace, which was in turn named after The Crystal Palace which had been moved from Hyde Park, London after the 1851 Great Exhibition and rebuilt with some modifications and enlargements to form the centrepiece of the pleasure ground, before being destroyed by fire in 1936.
