Wading out into the Smith River, the rocks had moss and were very slippery. I was worried about falling and dunking the camera. I had dry clothes to change into, but losing the camera would be another thing. (But I really wanted to get this shot..) 2006

Very clear and calm sea water in Menjangan Island, Bali. Best diving season is between April to July, on dry season which water temperature can get into 30c.
Normally the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of County Waterford is very active with lots of waves. Because of the current spell of prolonged high pressure we are experiencing very calm seas resulting in beautiful clear water.

Arriving at the dock at Grand Turk where the water is crystal clear.
The pier and its shopping area cruise center were built here by Carnival Corporation in 2006 as a cruise ship destination. Along with several shops, there is also a Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville. The cruise center is the largest employer on the island.
Hurricane Ike caused massive destruction to the island and cruise center in September 2008. Multi-million dollar repairs were quickly made to the the cruise center so it could reopen and bring much needed revenue to the island.
