Drune: Crossroads

Group Notice From: Drune Forever!, Sparklybootie

Drune: Crossroads is a mix between the East of Eden and 2019-XS versions of Drune. The streets are tighter, the buildings are taller, and there are more interiors to explore! Think of it as a Drune's Greatest Hits, with locations from several previous Drunes returning. It's the classic aesthetic of Drune everyone loves.

Also, I am running a new photo contest with a 10k grand prize. Info here: www.flickr.com/photos/sparklebottom/50681047552/

Last night it was a bit cloudy and windy so we have decided to go out and play a bit with long exposure. I have gotten another fish eye lens from my husband (now, that was a very good Valentine's gift, don't you think? ;D) and want to get familiar with it before we go to Iceland and that was another good opportunity to do just that.

Must say that the sky on these makes me dizzy..

It's Wednesday, boys and girls! From now it's down the hill ;D

What a building this is, a two frame pano from the "L'Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris". I called it Crossroads as it has given me a number of ideas for the future.

A favorite place to stop on our journey to visit Colorado. Some trips we manage to stop by when they are closed though. We noticed they had added a drive-through window on the back side this time (as our normal parking space was part of the drive through loop)

Brices Crossroads

Baldwyn, MS

At every crossroads on the path that leads to the future, tradition has placed 10,000 men to guard the past.

Words to the Picture

Shot in Switzerland .. it was a very warm sunny day and we were enjoying it to the fullest .. i was in the same place last fall and on this beautiful January day i stood upon the walls of an old fortress to capture this crossroad.

A coincidence to be honest, cuz i was actually focused on the mountains in the background .. luckily i noticed it a couple of seconds later. Not the best landscape pic outthere, but i just love lines and layers going all over the place ..

Leaving the park and the sun setting, a quick turn-back and caught a nice shot of the Crossroards area. The Sorcerer's Hat is disappearing fast, soon it will not block the view any more of the Chinese Theater - hopefully before we leave.

I got my first developed lomographies on Friday, and this is one of my favourites from all the shots.

Basically, I like the outcome of most of the shots. Some have very interesting effects, like this one.

can you feel that power at the crossroads ?

I was impressed with Lightroom Classic's ability to select the sky with the Mask AI tech as it did not select the tall palm trees or the Crossroads shop. This allowed me to darken the sky without affecting those objects.

I made this quilt in 2012, but just realized I never posted it. Correcting that mistake now!

What interested me in taking this photo is not the rail crossroads. If you look closely you will see one of the crossroads is going to the horizon. another one seems to end at the door of that hut shaped house. It really ends there. That seemed very interesting and unusual to me. Why the road ends there? What was there before that house?

Taken from Rajshahi Rail Station.
