Looking back in the archives I came across these four pics taken at each corner of a crossroads in the Palermo Vieja District.

Don't get me wrong, I love Crossroads generally, but this is really the star attraction for me and the reason I keep going back: the 1912 Parker Carousel.
The chapel at Crossroads Village, just outside of Flint. The green light gave it a sort of haunting appearance, which was appropriate for Halloween.

Joshua Tree (the city), as far as I could tell has a visitors center, two gas stations, a motel, and two incredible vegetarian cafes.

Crossroads Cafe in Joshua Tree is maybe the best restaurant in the California High Desert. Anywhere. Anytown. Would hold up in OC, no problem.
It's been a staple of climber, hippies, wanderers, hikers, and the occasional Marine Officers for years now. This place was my brother's second home while he was stationed there.
This is where I'll be spending a lot of Saturday and Sunday nights over the next nine months or so.
Jimbo, rockin' the stache, rockin' the Guinness, and rockin' the desert rocks. Probably again. Tomorrow.
This beer I'm toasting to my brother, chilling in Afghanistan. Everyone at Crossroads misses you.

Gothic, Vampire, Lycanthrope, Angel and Demon roleplay area. Now they have 9 dark roleplay sims (!) CCS enabled.
