Cosmos flowers at Pashley Manor Garden

Taken at a garden centre in Norfolk that specialises in roses and also has a 2 acre rose garden to walk around, sit in and enjoy the abundance of roses and many other flowers including a spectacular display of cosmos.

Candy Stripe Cosmos in the 4H Garden at Michigan State University. This variety of cosmos come in many different colors, so pretty.

Cosmos bipinnatus (Garden cosmos, 'Ooharushagiku' in Japanese) is an annual flowering plant in the aster family, native to Americas and cultivated worldwide.

A shot from my garden which is looking pretty tired by now . It peaks in June but by mid August its well past its best. However there are some pockets of the garden were there is still a little colour. Cosmos are very useful as late summer plants simple flowers but they keep on repeating . Photographed this one in front of some white Phlox

Cosmos flowers look to the sky.

From my wildflower garden. I love this time of year when the leaves are slowly dropping to the ground the the flowers are still in bloom.
