Someone called the Cosmos "everyone's favorite summer flower." I have no idea, but I kind of likes how this one looked through the 105mm macro. Extremely dry here in NEOhio this summer, but this little, colorful bud seems to be doing well.
Loch Maree and Slioch looking resplendent in the dazzle of morning sunlight . I need to go up to the North west of Scotland again for some more adventures. Beautiful Cosmos is by Ivor Cutler. It's a sunny day here at last so the sea calls.
Summer is over and my cosmos flowers are getting smaller,,,, this little vase sits in my kitchen window... it makes me happy

With colder nights in our area, we fear our cosmos will soon be gone. Another bouquet of these cheerful flowers seemed a good idea.
I went to Singleton Park yesterday to try and get some autumn flower shots. A few shots uploaded today and I will post a few more when I get time to process them.
