"Cosmic Circus" is a children's drama show by a Taiwanese kids troupe "Good Play Troupe".
I didn't go to my high school prom. Instead, I drag Adam, Greg, Dave and Dan (who were graduating a year later than me) to Cosmic Bowling and a movie in Brampton. I got the idea from an episode of the short-lived, but quirky, WB teen dramedy, Popular. It was a good time, and the technical set-up was worth the premium. However, at this alley, they just don't try, but man do they know how to charge. There's nothing cosmic about blacklight, florescent paint, generic "Yeah" rock and a disco ball. They didn't even bother to change the balls to the florescent neon type.
Top experts convey their astronomical knowledge to novices, intermediate students and advanced practitioners, and elaborate on what humankind now knows about the universe. Jerry T. Bonell (US) of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center explain the “hot universe” that is brimming with high-energy insights. Scientists of the European Southern Observatory in Chile, on the other hand, introduce us to the “cold universe”. The visible portion of the cosmos is explained by Dietmar Hager (AT), an astrophotographer who’s certainly the right man for this job.

I'm just keeping this image on file. I'm pretty sure this is the illustration that they used for the holographic CD-Case cover (which was probably one of the most coveted items of my childhood).

"Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a bin o' stems. Suddenly someone'll say, like, bin, or stems, or bin o' stems out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconsciousness."

Over the past thirty years, Europe has made history in the scientific exploration of the Solar System and the Universe: from a close encounter with Comet Halley in 1986, to parachuting a probe onto Saturn’s moon Titan in 2005 and finding water-ice under the surface of Mars. ESA missions are studying Venus and our Sun as never before and are providing us with images of distant galaxies.
The European Space Agency, ESA, is now looking ahead to the next twenty years with the Cosmic Vision programme. European scientists are working today to develop innovative missions to face the scientific, intellectual and technological challenges of tomorrow.
At the core of ESA’s Cosmic Vision programme lie several fundamental themes:
- How does the Solar System work?
- What are the conditions for life and planets to form?
- What are the fundamental physical laws of the Universe?
- How did the Universe originate and what is it made of?

Fantasy image of a cosmic invasion :>)
Just a bit of fun really.
It is actually a macro of the stamen of a hollyhock flower with rainwater droplets on the petals. After adjusting the colours I then rotated the image counter clockwise.
