Camping on the Isle of Wight in my VW camper looking toward Orion. It's my first attempt at a very long exposure to obtain star trails. Had problems with unwanted light that caused flare. Left the shutter open and went inside camper for a glass or two of wine during the exposure.
Details of the shot are as follows:- Exposure 1259 secs, Aperture f/5, Focal length 18mm, ISO 100.

Hello people, sorry i have been away for so long but i can explain and this picture seems apropriate therefore for what happened.
Last week i caught a severe viral infection which led me to be bed bound and unable to eat. Im only just getting over it now but i can tell you it gave me time to think and amongst other things never to get that ill again!
I really want to continue my 365 but i don't want it to be a chore, i will start again on monday but i don't want it controlling my life now, i really had time to think and although i still want to learn and improve with my skills as a photographer it is about time i started making a career out of it to. Im really going to push the boat out now and beg, harass, shove my c.v. down peoples throats to get as much exposure, work experience and hopefully a job out of it as soon as possible. Don't get me wrong you wont get rid of me as ill still be uploading on here but i need to sort my life out too, everything happens for a reason and i believe this was the preverbial kick up the backside i needed! So apologies again for my absence, im back now and going to kick ass!
P.S. if anyone would like an assistant or knows of any jobs going please let me know! :)
Please comment if you fave, comments and criticism are appreciated!

A Cosmic Cube- super simple design
I was shooting some apples for a few fall projects. I came across an apple image that was done in low key and I liked the way it looked. A few additional edits later and I ended up with something completely outside my box...Cosmic Apple.

"Cosmic Latte", the color of the Universe.
I enjoy shooting wider DSLR Lens views when I am capturing closer detail with my Telescope. Even though a 105mm Lens only shows a fraction of the observable night sky, the "Cosmic Latte" theory does seem to start becoming apparent the wider you go. Research shows that the average colour of the Universe is Beige, and this is referred to as Cosmic Latte.

Where dreams and metal collide
On our trip to Fiji in June, we had many encounters with this lovely Aussie, Kit. Completely cosmic, he lives by the motto "laugh or cry, surf or die" and is a full-time frother and hammock maker residing in Fiji.

Cosmic Muffin Houseboat changed name to Witch Craft on static display at the Florida Air Museum in the Sun 'n Fun Complex at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in the City of Lakeland Polk County Florida U.S.A.
Kenneth London: 1969 – 1981
Apparently destined for the scrap heap, the 307 was rescued by Fort Lauderdale Realtor® and pilot Kenneth W. London in 1969. Unable to make the plane airworthy again, he cut the wings and tail off, trucked the remaining fuselage to a nearby marina and spent the next four years converting the four-engined airliner into a sleek and uniquely sensational motor yacht. Launched in July 1974, the Londonaire was seen throughout south Florida to the delight of spectators and the media. The “plane-boat” featured twin V-8 inboards incorporating the original aircraft cockpit controls that were used to fly the plane, propelling the vessel over 20 mph. Electrical, plumbing, sanitation and air conditioning systems were installed along with a new interior that included restored chairs and bar.Dave Drimmer: 1981 – 2016
The boat was bought by Dave Drimmer in 1981 as a liveaboard and extensively remodeled and rebuilt after he discovered the original hull was barely keeping the plane fuselage afloat. He later named it the Cosmic Muffin after publication of Jimmy Buffett’s novel Where is Joe Merchant? Boeing has restored the only other remaining 307 Stratoliner to flying condition for the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution.
The plane now rests with Howard Hughes’ Personal Aviation Collection, another facet of Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum. Drimmer donated the plane-boat to Aerospace Discovery at the Florida Air Museum and knows his piece of history will be well taken care of in Lakeland, Fl.

I'm taking a Basic Photography class, and it's pushed me to explore subjects that are outside my comfort zone. In working on a Night Photography assignment, I went to explore the small town of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. What I found delighted me: the work of a graffiti artist sharing messages of hope and unity, gifts greatly needed in these turbulent times. One work included the words, "You belong here," and another is shown in this image, "Cosmic Love." This artist is doing their best to Shine a Light in the world, and I'm just passing it along.

I walked by this stump a few days ago. It was a sunny afternoon. There was nothing really special about it at first glance, but I thought maybe it could be a part of something bigger.
I set an alarm for 2:30AM and returned later that night. At that serendipitous moment in time, you could see the Milky Way floating vertically overhead, perfectly aligned with that same unspecial stump. The foreground was lit by a rope of white and purple lights. It was a marriage of man, nature, and the heavens.
I unfolded my tripod and took a picture. After some time, the sky moved and the moment passed.
