Miroslaw Magola has provided a variety of media presentations that cause us to question the limitations of our knowledge, giving us impetus to find an explanation. "Anytime we gain new knowledge, our perceptions expand."
Consciousness is the state or quality of awareness, or, of being aware of an external object or something within oneself. It has been defined as: sentience, awareness, subjectivity, the ability to experience or to feel, wakefulness, having a sense of selfhood, and the executive control system of the mind. Despite the difficulty in definition, many philosophers believe that there is a broadly shared underlying intuition about what consciousness is. As Max Velmans and Susan Schneider wrote in The Blackwell Companion to Consciousness: "Anything that we are aware of at a given moment forms part of our consciousness, making conscious experience at once the most familiar and most mysterious aspect of our lives."
The quantum mind or quantum consciousness hypothesis proposes that classical mechanics cannot explain consciousness. It posits that quantum mechanical phenomena, such as quantum entanglement and superposition, may play an important part in the brain's function and could form the basis of an explanation of consciousness. It is not a single theory, but a collection of hypotheses.
In neuroscience, quantum brain dynamics - QBD - is a hypothesis to explain the function of the brain within the framework of quantum field theory.
Large systems, such as those studied biologically, have less symmetry than the idealized systems or single crystals often studied in physics. Jeffrey Goldstone proved that where symmetry is broken, additional bosons, the Nambu–Goldstone bosons, will then be observed in the spectrum of possible states; one canonical example being the phonon in a crystal.

Is graffiti mindless?
Whatever you think about graffiti, from tags to major works of art, there are some graffiti artists whose work is often outwardly political and social; sending out a strong, sometimes subtle, message about the state of our society today.
The exhibition features Martin Bull’s black & white photographs of street graffiti and posterings by Banksy, Arofish, Mantis, Jimmy Cauty, El Chivo, Eine, Shepard Fairey, Blek le Rat, Junkerade, & others, as well as accompanying art works by several of the above. Original art on loan includes three from Arofish; a brand new canvas, a stunning 'Eject & Survive on a map of Afghanistan, and a cardboard version of the angel and paratroppers. mantis has done an iNeed on a page of The Financial Times, and I've also got a canvas from Junkerade.
It opened on the 2nd of may, which was also the 4th anniversary of the occupation of Iraq. Only 26,540 civilian deaths in this 4th year- ho hum.....
I not a lot of cases of people walking without consciousness at all.

This beautiful sacred geometry structure is a combination between two of the Perfect Platonic Solids the Icosahedron and the Dodecahedron.
Each facet of a dodecahedron is actually a pentagon/pentad. The pentad was so revered to early Greek philosophers and the disciples of Pythagoras that it’s construction and it’s divine proportions were kept secret. The pythagoreans used it as a symbol to recognize one another.They learned it’s relation to the Divine Proportion (The Golden Mean) which is one of nature’s basic mathematical/geometrical laws, and they discovered how this proportion affects the human psyche (we respond/react to this proportion as harmonious and beautiful with a deep tranquilizing effect).

Shiva is pure consciousness. He is the Supreme Lord’s greatest bhakta as he is always meditating upon Narayana. Our Shivaratri celebrations were hosted live from Mauritius with Paramahamsa Vishwananda and Shree Peetha Nilaya - The Ashram. Festivities included several Shiva-lingam abhishekams, yajnas, and beautiful kirtan by Bhakti Marga's devoted and talented musicians.

Photographing this show was AMAZING. Seriously. GROUPLOVE's lighting was out of this world - some of, if not THE, best lighting I've ever worked with. Saints of Valory and The Knocks also put on really fun sets, which was totally unexpected for me and made me really happy to get to photograph. The best part was that although I hadn't been cleared for a portrait shoot or interview, GROUPLOVE let me take a quick portrait of them after their show, and their guitarist gave me quite a long interview, too. I'd HIGHLY recommend checking them out, especially live. They are an absolute BLAST to watch and listen to, and put so much energy into their performance that I sometimes felt out of breath just from watching!

Just because something isn't physical doesn't mean it's not real, as in the case of the shadows of these structures. We know them to be as real as the structure themselves, but they only exist when there is light.

OFF THE WALLS special installation at Seattle Asian Art Museum Summer of 2017
Site specific project at Seattle Asian Art Museum. Preexisting curved walls painted with Acrylic paint. Circular part is 8 feet wide. Person to scale. Individual elements size ranges from 4” to 30”. Unity as a whole is my foundation. These soft sculptures are a 3-D version of my paintings. 14’ x 18’ x 9.2’
