Confident mixed Gothic church by Sir Robert Rowand Anderson, 1890.

Interesting 4 stage tower, becoming more elaborate in successive stages, has octagonal stair turret with arrow-slit windows to NW corner and continuous row of small cusped windows above parapet in stairhead, terminating in cusped and finialled pinnacled roof. Pointed-arch moulded entrance door to W with foliate carving to spandrels. 2nd stage with 2 lancets with cusped heads to W, N and E face. 3rd stage with 2 2-light windows to W and N face. Top stage with large louvred traceried 2-light window to W, N and E face; ball flower studded eaves cornice: moulded crenellated parapet; octagonal leaded needle spire with herringbone pattern.

Here I go again--no confident ID to provide. I really want to provide IDs because I know how much non-scientists like me appreciate it when others indicate what they have photographed and where they did the photographing.

The Pine Warbler is one of those species whose coloring varies a lot throughout the year, and that sometimes confuses me. The little yellowish birds are difficult for me to tell apart. When I do get a definite identification, I will edit this description.

Many thanks for your visits, your comments, your advice, your corrections, and your friendship. Thank you as well for posting your own bird pictures for me and other amateurs like me to admire and learn from.
