Shot this little beauty down at Lower Halstow in Kent (UK) this morning. Love this little birds, he was really confident today and allowed me to watch him fishing for a long time!
my first job interview since i was twenty.
at first, i was no more confident than i was then.
eventually, i ended up telling them what the job should be.
You know life is good when Hannah sends you a message saying she is in the mood for some photo therapy. She had a new outfit she wanted to try out and she wanted to do in a natural setting. Sounds good to me. We did this shoot on a blazing hot evening at the Scentsy campus in Meridian, Idaho in July 2022. Hannah is simply awesome to shoot with and we're already plotting future shoots.
Quick aside - this is the same area I shot Hannah at the beginning of 2022 - it was snowy and bitterly cold - about 20 degrees. She was turning blue. Big difference!

Les pavés luisants reflètent la magie des lieux,
Comme un miroir d'eau figé dans la pierre,
Où se mêlent les reflets des lumières
Et les promesses d'une soirée enchantée.
Red hair, an engaging smile and a charming manner, she was confident in herself. It’s wonderful to create a connection with people and to show their beauty and humanity in an authentic portrait.

This beautiful young lady seems very confident and seems to know exactly what she wants. Whether that is actually true or just appearance doesn't matter; what matters is the point that her elegant classy dress enhances her personality, charm and confidence. It's very logical: when you wear something classy and beautiful, you feel classy and beautiful and are classy and beautiful. It's so true that you feel much more confident in pretty clothes, and that because of your graceful appearance and enhanced confidence the world reacts completely different to you.

The Kookaburra River Queen Paddlewheelers are true icons of the Brisbane River, based on the Mississipi, and Murray River Paddlewheelers and celebrate Brisbane's greatest asset - our river.
The vessels were aptly named because the Kookaburra is a native Australian bird that is never seen to drink water – a prophecy that all boat owners would hope to emulate!
Confident that Brisbane was ready for "something nostalgic, old-fashioned and different” the Kookaburra Queens were born. Millkraft Thompson Boatyards built Kookaburra Queen. She was the first wooden paddlewheeler built in Australia in the last century. Launched in 1986 and 1988 respectively, the Queens were crafted mainly from Queensland timbers, the 100 foot keels from ironbark, the sheathed hulls planked with oregon and spotted gum and the decks made from white beech.
