This was taken last night, the last course of Chinese Dinner in Fine Dining stlye @ the KL Hilton during a Wedding dinner.
It consist of ice-cream over crumbs and pan-cake with lotus seed fillings top with thick cream (since I'm not a chef, cannot taste what it was! maybe Mayo or sour cream.)
Very low light condition, so had to use ISO-1600. A lot of noise reduction using Neat Image to process.
Yesterday I joined with a River cruise in Buriganga River. I was surprise to see the condition beside this poor river. there were nothing to see except Brick field all around us. the Air & water pollution was serious. Brickfields have been blamed for increasing air pollution, especially during the dry season. The pollution is caused by poor quality of fuel and improper design of chimneys. Ash, dust and sulfur dioxide gas pollute the areas surrounding brickfields and acid rain syndrome has become a regular phenomenon in such areas. Brickfields also cause crop loss, corrosion of metallic content of soil and loss of soil fertility. Burning in kiln makes the land unusable for cultivation for several years.

সভ্যতার বিকাশের সাথে সাথে মানুষ গড়ে তুলেছে সুবিশাল সব স্থাপনা। ঢাকা শহরের আকাশচুম্বি দালান-কোঠাগুলার দিকে চোখ তুলে তাকাতে গেলে ঘাড় ব্যাথা হয়ে যায়। কিন্তু এই গড়ার পেছনে কতটুকু ধংস্ব হচ্ছে তা কি আমরা ভেবে দেখেছি? ঢাকা সংলগ্ন বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীর দুই তীর এ যতদূর চোখ যায় শুধু ইটের ভাটা আর ইটের ভাটা। বায়ুদূষনের কারনে প্রাণখুলে শ্বাস নেওয়া যায়না আর পানি দূষনে বুড়িগঙ্গা আজ মৃতপ্রায় । সত্যি মাঝে মাঝে প্রশ্ন হয় কোন পথে চলছি আমরা গড়া না ভাঙা?

Canadian Pacific train 390 was rolling along the Elgin Subdivision with CP AC4400CW 8506 with its front door wide open being passed by Metra F40C 607 at the B12 interlocking in Franklin Park in 2000.
This was not my best effort.

My grandpa has a half roll of pennies from 1957 that have never been in circulation. this is one of them, which he has given to me.
In 2015 I began a mixed media exploration I named the "8/29 Project." 8/29 deals physically with the laceration and incumbent ruins in the wake of August 29, 2005 when New Orleans was desecrated by Hurricane Katrina. Narrating through images from Katrina, I am attempting to meditate on the concepts of loss and chaos, and essentially the human condition as a whole. During the summer of 2015 I drove all over south east Louisiana looking for physical memories of the storm. I found a yellow, one-story house with a red roof in Braithwaite with a bright red X Code next to the door stating a gas leak and three deceased bodies were discovered on the premises. Around back, I found a mannequin torso almost poetically dislodged from the rear of the house of anonymous victims.

This is a large size cuckoo measuring almost 18inch in length. It's infamous for singing ear piercing love songs (he has a huge repertoire of songs at his disposal) to his wife but could drive some people nuts especially early in the morning. Like most cuckoo species, it too is parasitic in nature.
This implies his wife has got no parenting duties. After a happy and successful mating, she then target a host nest and joyfully lay her fertilized eggs in it. Following, she would excitingly kiss her eggs good-bye and leave the entire 'bringing-up' of her offspring to the host's mother.
Therefore I would consider the female of this species a 'half mother'
Nonetheless, this wondrous arrangement is devised by nature and there must be a very good reason behind which we are still trying to unravel.

These folks have a nasty habit of concealing themselves among the leaves and branches despite its huge size. Only briefly exposing itself during flight and often mistaken as a crow. The only give-away is its rather long tail which is unfortunately out of frame in this image.
