The architect's design is well expressed with this type of light causing impressive reflections and shadows. Welcomed to complement my series L&P: surprising compositions in the everyday, a special view of buildings, interiors ... lines made abstract.

Both composition nr 21 and nr 22 are part of the series as well.

Extract from the context volumes, colors and shapes by subjectively creating a new self-sufficient harmony.

Composition planante...

Yeah, I know, I guess the subject here is a little too obvious for some but there are many constraints around this photograph so composition was a challenge. I photographed a similar image six months ago but the boat was wedged against a plastic pallet and being a precision engineer plastic is not my favourite...too throw away for my liking.

I have viewed this image afew times, quite alot really and no matter where I begin, be it the wood grain or stone outcrop or even the quarry crane my eyes always vanish up in to that sky...centre frame just above the horizon....so there you go, "vanishing" is the title for this offering. Hope you enjoy it.

Candid shot of a Capitol Hill Arts Workshop student in my Washington, D.C. photo class. Single dot focusing was on the rim of the student's lens but special attention was on the background, framing the subject in the doorway and using the photo of the wall to balance the image.

Challenge #227: Triangular Composition

Don't know if this is what you wanted Brenda. You said something about finding implied triangles from nature or other sources. Guess if you've got a good imagination this will work!

All comments regarding this picture, subject, composition, etc are welcome and appreciated. TIA.
