Today is a purple or pink day at Color my world Daily and we have an awesome theme at Smile on Saturday: in spooky company. So basically we celebrate Halloween which is tomorrow ! Is there something more spooky than objects levitating around your house ? Well, if you are me: spiders would be an answer ! So here we go: a levitating egg in spooky compagnie of spiders !

I know this isn't technically great but thought worth posting! Kingfishers taken at Colchester Castle Park along the river Colne.
I missed capturing these vibrant beauties the first time they bloomed, but I got another chance when they bloomed a second time this year. Billbergia Pyramidalis or Flaming Torch.
A long-time favorite piece of furniture in my house, bought years ago in Charleston, South Carolina....

My evil pumpkin sits on our mantle chomping on a leaf. Don't get too near - he just might bite you.
After three full days of Central Florida downpours, we were finally able to take the rain gear off start the drying off process. It was the same for the eagles and ospreys as they seemed to be bogged down by the heavy rain.
We fished under this fellow for a few hours, the entire time he just kept his head down and pointed into the wind as the bands of rain came through.
It's not just the tourists who are happy when the rains end!

I'm so lucky to have this place just minutes from my home. This beautiful scene is the first thing you see, and the loud roar of the water flowing over the Dam fills your ears. Then you can hit the trail, 6 miles across and back.
