St. Luke's UM Church purchased items to make gift bags for every person who entered the Mission on June 17, 2015. Ivy Tech Nursing Students helped put the bags together and passed them out that day. Nurse Humdinger (clown) came and put a smile on everyone's face! Balloons were provided by A Bloom for all Seasons. Cakes were provided by Create A Cake and Kroger. Scoops donated two huge tubs of ice cream. Thank you to everyone who made this day special.

Enjoy a community of gardeners, get gardening tips, and swap seeds. Seed swaps promote biodiversity and recycle precious resources. Package seeds to share in individual bags, and label them with the name of the flower, vegetable or herb, required growing conditions, and date of harvest. Can include unused commercial seeds in original packages no more than one year old. Non-hybridized seeds preferred. Extra seeds available. In partnership with Howard County Master Gardeners. Held at HCLS Miller Branch
The CASA Community Garden is a true community garden that is planted, maintained, and harvested entirely by volunteers. Bennett Nurseries, Windmill Gardens, Earth Touch and the Catbird Seat Garden Center donate all seeds, plants, and a number of supplies used in the garden.
All produce from the garden is delivered to elderly and homebound clients throughout Madison County. Since 1994, the CASA Community Garden has produced and harvested 133,000 pounds of fresh vegetables! Each year, hundreds of CASA clients receive fresh produce through the efforts of volunteers and the bounty of this garden.

I experimented with taking a picture in the rain at night, so the only source of light was from car lights, stop lights, and street lamps. The light reflected off the rain to create a red tint on the drops. This was taken near my house, and the license plate reads "Oh I <3Me". I feel much of our community is cocky and loves themselves, and is very public about it. The iso was 200, which means that it was more sensitive to light. My aperture was f/2.4, which is a large aperture, meaning that it let in more light. My shutter speed was 1/20th of a second, which is a slightly faster shutter speed allowing the picture to be more focused instead of blurry.
