Grounds For Sculpture is a museum, sculpture garden, and arboretum framed by nature on 42 picturesque acres. Wander the grounds and discover hundreds of contemporary sculptures. More than 270 sculptures by renowned and emerging contemporary artists are thoughtfully positioned on meticulous landscaping complemented by thousands of exotic trees and flowers.
GFS features works by distinguished artists including Clement Meadmore, Anthony Caro, Beverly Pepper, Kiki Smith, George Segal, Magdalena Abakanowicz, and Isaac Witkin. Their artwork, along with the enchanting works of our visionary founder Seward Johnson, comprise our amazing and eclectic collection.

This special little space can be found down on MILL STREET, heading south off Main Street (Hwy 299) in Weaverville, California
Students, faculty, staff and anyone else passing by were encouraged to write messages of love, acceptance, tolerance, resilience, hope, compassion, kindness and courage in order to help build up the community of North Campus. The event was sponsored by Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Michigan Engineering Office of Student Affairs in the Duderstadt Connector.

As a result of Surrey County Council retendering in September 2006, short workings between Dorking and Newdigate on service 22 that had previously been worked off the 516 were withdrawn and partly replaced by new service 522 which was worked as part of a welfare contract by Woking Community Transport.

Esperanza Community Services was founded by Guadalupe Reyes in 1969 as a school for children whose learning needs were not met in traditional classrooms. It now provides an alternate school for more than 60 full-time students ranging from kindergarten to 22-years-old with developmental disabilities, as well as services for around 70 adults, including in-home and at group homes in the neighborhood. The center is predominantly housed in the former St. Columbkille Catholic School at 520 N. Marshfield Ave. Since Esperanza moved into the structure in the 1970s, it has received few upgrades and major repairs. A recently received $585,230 grant will allow for renovation to commence this fall, coordinating with the ongoing school year with an estimated completion by 2024.
Organized in 1859, St. Columbkille Church was located at 1638 W. Grand Ave. In 1899, the Sisters of Providence took charge when the Holy Cross Brothers withdrew and Father Dunne invited the sisters to take charge of the boys’ school. In 1907, the sisters also took charge of the girls’ school due to the withdrawal of the Sisters of Charity. Boys and girls were in separate rooms. The grammar school for the girls developed into a full eight grades and a commercial high school. Because of the lack of available sisters, the grammar school closed in 1971. The commercial school closed in 1969. The church, since demolished, closed in 1975.
EM employees who participated in the latest Combined Federal Campaign season that ended this month and their contractor counterparts donated more than $800,000 and other gifts to people in need.
The campaign is a workplace charitable giving drive for employees in the federal workplace.
In Aiken, S.C., Savannah River Site (SRS) donations to the campaign totaled more than $143,800. Employees also collected more than 13,000 items for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Since the start of the SRS Toys for Tots campaigns in 1991, employees have collected more than 215,000 toys for the effort. The 2011 campaign marked the largest toy contribution to date at SRS, an effort requiring several large trucks and numerous volunteers.
