When I visited the Arabs at Marbach in May, the foals still spent a lot of time close to their mothers. Now they are more independent and interact more with each other which is fun to watch. These two are truly best buddies and particularly entertaining. :)

Another in the 'Modern Communication' series.

 

Given a monochrome fade treatment.

By sheer fluke this turned out okay. A very quick visit to Birmingham on what was a wet morning, I didn't even bother to take a camera. During the walk to the railway station and the ride to Snow Hill the weather cleared. This was the train I arrived on 172001 is leading the late running 10.26 Stratford-upon-Avon to Kidderminster, 2K31, snapped with the mobile phone. The figure was handy but given that the train was moving there was little choice!
