Geen wedstrijd van Oranje missen? Nederland 1, 2 en 3 in de Coentunnel! Moet je wel TV in de auto hebben.
Never miss the next soccer match while driving through the tunnel. You just need a TV on the dashboard.

Communication can be brutal, violent, without mercy. I felt very sorry for this bike. It seemed to call out to me:
"Help me! Release me! Repair me! Don't leave me here, as useless waste!"
I couldn't believe that it was the owner who left his bike here. But normally, when somebody steals a bike, he doesn't lock it but just leaves it somewhere, unlocked.
Maybe the owner lost his key and had no spare-key and was so frustrated that he attacked his own vehicle.
I faced this problem once, when I tried to open one of the locks of my bike (in Amsterdam I use at least two locks; with my current bike, which is the best and most expensive bike I've ever owned I use three locks) the key broke and half of it was stuck inside the lock. My bike was firmly attached to a fence, so I couldn't carry it away. I then called the police and explained my predicament. They immediately offered to help and force the lock, provided that I could prove that I was the rightfull owner of the bike (which I could). They subsequently untied my bike, in front of a big gathering of people, who were somewhat amazed. I heard somebody say: "Didn't know that the police is providing this kind of service!" You'll understand: I love the Amsterdam-police-force!
By the way: the bike in the picture was put of its misery. Coincedently I passed the spot yesterday afternoon, when two city-officials where removing the lock with a huge circular saw, sparks flying and all.
During the first few months of a baby's life, their only means of communication is crying.
You need to pay close attention to your baby to figure out what he or she is trying to tell...
Babies cry fall into one of the following categories:
PAIN= A sharp scream, followed by a moment of no breathing, and another sharp scream
HUNGER= A low pitched cry that rises and falls with a rhythm. The baby will usually root, suck on his or her hands and can't be calmed down
FATIGUE= A soft, rhythmic cry as the baby tries to pacify and put themselves to sleep
BOREDOM= A "fake" cry that stops when picked up.
DISCOMFORT= A whiny sound like the "fake" cry, but doesn't stop when picked up. Baby usually needs a diaper change or is too hot or cold
The Museum of Communications was founded as a postal museum in 1872, the world’s oldest such collection, and has been in its present ornate location at Leipziger Straße 16 since 1897. Permanent exhibition includes tools of the written word - wax seals, postcards and stamps (such as the famous Blue Mauritius), agents of the spoken and visual word – telephones (including some of the first), radios and film, and of the virtual – telegraphs and computers.

Koreans have 3G reception everywhere -- subways underground, ferries in the open ocean, even the peak of their highest mountain Hallasan.
There exist centers in Korea for treatment of internet addiction. I think Jon may need treatment for iPhone addiction.

All of the men are using spades to dig up the earth in this shallow trench. They are wearing steel helmets, and most of them have removed their shirts as they do this heavy work. A few men in the distance have noticed the camera and have paused to watch. The trench winds it's way past small trees and bushes into open ground. The loose earth is piled high at the side of the trench.
Sappers were the men who dug saps, short trenches that stretched across no-man's-land towards enemy lines. Saps enabled soldiers to advance without exposing themselves to enemy fire. In this particular image the sappers are building a communications trench which would be used to transport soldiers, food, equipment and ammunition up to the front line.

Two strangers meet in a cafe. They put on a pair of headphones, through which they hear a series of commands. The voice tells them what to say, how to move, and what to do with the objects positioned on the table.
The two women above are 'performing' as part of Rotozaza's Etiquette, an experience for two ordinary people in a public space which aims to expose the delicacy and rawness of human communication.
Some say it works best with someone you know, others with a stranger. Two New Yorkers even fell in love.
Etiquette comes to Stereo in Glasgow as part of the Arches OFF-SITE series between 9 - 13 Feb 2010.

The problem with pointing a camera at someone is you never know how they will take it if you are seen. The sign sums it up.
