Hotel Vereggaria has attracted many renowned personalities, and this is the reason why the hotel is also known as “the hotel of kings”.
To be more specific, at the beginning of the 20th century (1931) Pharouk, the king of Egypt, and Ezer Vaisman, the president of Israel resided at Vereggaria. The name of the hotel is also reminiscent of royalty, as Vereggaria was the name of the queen of Navarre, wife of Richard Lionheart. The royal couple got married in Cyprus.
It is worth mentioning that Vereggaria obtained positive reviews and this is shown in the visitors’ book, in which the “Cypriot hospitality” and “natural beauty” of its surroundings are praised.
The renovation and reopening of the Vereggaria hotel aims to boost the tourism of Prodromos and the surrounding area of Marathassa and hence, its economy. Hotel Vereggaria will be the ideal solution for everyone that appreciates winter resorts throughout the year.
The president of Salamis Tours Ltd., Mr. Vassos G. Hahjitheodossiou, aspires to bring this time-honoured hotel back to life, as this would signify the preservation of our “cultural heritage”.
It is worth mentioning that the architectural design of the hotel will be conserved and preserved, in order to protect “its historical form” and importance. However, the hotel will be renovated so as to satisfy the needs of all guests and provide them with all (modern) comforts.
The reopening of Vereggaria will enhance and upgrade the quality and quantity of tourists, as far as one of the greatest Cypriot resorts are concerned. Hotel Vereggaria will certainly be one of the main attractions of the island.

Where else would a Columbus Crew supporter seek the solace of comfort food but Bob Evans? (aside from the pub, that is).
These are hand carved comfort birds. They are handcrafted by a friend in Calgary. I thought they were cold. So I tucked them into Sophie Socks.

When it comes to restaurants, Swiss Chalet is a Canadian institution. And yes, I do a very American thing and order BBQ sauce instead of chalet sauce.

Pasta with lots of olive oil ( and butter), broccoli, a few tomats, and abundant shavings of parmesan. So cold outside the ice won't melt.
Haha, well when I think about it, any food really is comfort food for me! LOL, I love food, I love to eat and I'm trying very hard to watch what I eat and eat healthy. Cheese is definitely on the top of my list even though for the most part, it cause me grief about half an hour later.
Yesterday was a comfort food day since I haven't been feeling 100% for a week. I've had this cough that won't go away and now I've been feeling like I had stomach acid in the back of my throat all the time. I've been taking my Omeprozole regularly but it's been a year since I started it and now it might be time to change to something stronger.
Anyway, I can't make it look as appetizing as Tiffany but I tried!

Ian Levack first started using his father’s Pentax ME-F 35mm camera with a 50mm lens at a young age. In 2004 he received his first digital camera which was a Canon Power-shot Elph S-410 4.0 megapixel camera, and was used up until December 2008.
Macro photography is something Ian really enjoys, to capture the hidden world of shapes and textures in everyday objects. His satisfactory knowledge of Adobe Photoshop allows him to enhance his photography, quickly gaining much more experience altering the photos taken with his digital single lens reflex.

On his own Ian has been composing music since 2003.
