Lilly L stands like a gilded statue. Her eyes are fixed and piercing behind her even gaze. She's immutable, hands relaxed on the bar and feet comfortably planted on the ground with her Romanesque sandals revealing her graceful feet. There is something alluring, sensual, even sexy in what she's cooking up here. After I took the photo, she remained there a moment like a bronze statute calling to a beholding admirer, "Come to me." Lilly L is everything you feel and more, an enigmatic presence with one exception--her laugh is light and huggable :-) Enjoy. Washington DC, 29 July 2017.

These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

We have most of the day to fill in walking around Bruges before we catch the train to Amsterdam.

Bruges, the capital of West Flanders in northwest Belgium, is distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Its port, Zeebrugge, is an important center for fishing and European trade. In the city center’s Burg square, the 14th-century Stadhuis (City Hall) has an ornate carved ceiling. Nearby, Markt square features a 13th-century belfry with a 47-bell carillon and 83m tower with panoramic views. ― Google
