- www.kevin-palmer.com - It was another beautiful sunset as seen from Cold Springs Road near Hyattville.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - A newly constructed trail on Red Grade Road leads to this view. I waited all day for a short break in the rain so I could hike it.
Literal cliffside :-)
Hope you enjoy and this gives you the awes or maybe the heebie jeebies.
Have a good week!

I've created this painting from my reference material, I was able to collect in 2011 during my biology study time at the beautiful North Sea island Helgoland.
The Original Painting is available for Sale. Gicleé Prints coming soon.
I hiked a ways to see this lighthouse, but access was restricted once I got near. This was one of 2 views from the trail. I liked the wavy fence leading to it.
I like to take pics of favourite trees in the region. This one has drawn me back again and again and I don't think I've captured it right once. Still, I love it and will keep coming back and trying.
In retrospect I would have stopped this down a few more stops (I think I probably shot this at f/2.8 or f/3.5) so the blur wasn't quite as dramatic, but whatever. What's done is done.
It was a beautiful night at the coast and that's what I'll remember most anyway.

It was the reflection of the tree and house that caught my eye. I had fun putting this image together.

While some FOLs were working on SHIPs this September, I was working on this model: my largest to date (48 x 48 studs).

The arch of the tunnel was largely inspired by Jonas Kramm's beautiful arch design.
These Arbutus trees I would have thought were at too high of an elevation. but they are surviving on this rock mountain side and top. They are a warm Temperate type of tree
A study in simple colors, unique architecture, and curving rockwork, this 32x32 diorama was inspired solely by Bombur's hair and the white-and-medium dark flesh color scheme. Enjoy!
My first serious digital drawing. The style of the buildings is a bit like my last MOC. I've made a deviant art account, here is a link if you are interested in seeing more of my drawings: danieldt.deviantart.com/
Castle Hill Light is built right into the cliff face off Ocean Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island. Given its location, it almost appears as a natural feature of the landscape. The lighthouse has been in operation since 1890, serving ship traffic bound for Newport or Providence via the East Passage of Narragansett Bay. This photo was taken at sunset in December.
