1,380cc. Four registered owners including the vendor when purchased in 2009 from Wood & Pickett. The previous owner had the car for twenty‑eight years. Described as having much service history and a large file of paperwork. Over the last ten years the Mini has had restoration work carried out by PK motors in Tunbridge Wells as and when needed. About four years ago Bill Richards Racing in Ashford built and installed a 1,380 engine and gearbox to match and carried out a number of modifications such as adjustable steering arms, refurbished radius arms, Cooper brake discs and servo. The car wasn’t lowered and the front discs were small enough to accommodate ten inch wheels (genuine Minilites and Yokohama tyres). The engine was built to run at around 100 bhp. A pair of 1990’s Cooper retrimmed front seats have been fitted and carpets have also been replaced. Stated to drive extremely well. 45,486 recorded miles."
