5:35 AM view of Detroit stretching from the old Cass Tech High School to the industrialized riverfront near Delray and River Rouge. The approach for the Ambassador Bridge spans the center of the image. The bright light on the far right is actually a huge flame exhaust for the burners at the steel foundry at Zug Island. Cass Tech looks like some old fortress wall to me.

Just returned from 10 days in SF. Was there taking a WFR course. Even though there was A LOT of class and study time, I did find some moments to sneak in some photo ops.
My co-worker, Scott Donschikowski and I hit up the City for some scouting for our Night Owls workshop. Looks like eventually we'll need to replace a classic spot, due to the America's Cup in 2013.
Hope all is well with my fellow Flickr'ites!!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look,

The last shot from last night's adventure. This one was taken from the Devonport waterfront ~ from there, the view of the downtown area is on a diagonal with the port taking up most of the foreground.

I must say that I'm starting to get more comfortable flying the drone as evidence here. I'm thinking that this is as close as I've ever come to the Columbus skyline. Yea... That's what Fridays are made for.
As people walk from bridge to city, their world becomes more colourful. Taken from the Harbour Bridge, Sydney.
