Weekly Photo Challenge - "Chaos"
Processed with VSCO with 4 preset
With the current state of the world being flipped upside down and everyday life being chaotic, I’ve managed to tap into my creative side as a way to escape all of the fears and anxiety the world has been releasing. Stay safe and if you’re reading this enjoy life because there are people out there fighting for theirs.
“ Well you can make any day the greatest day
Just visualize peace when you play this
I'm not saying my whole life's a meditative state
But I was calm, cool, collect when I laid this”
Photo is the macro setup I used to snap photos of plants and flowers in my backyard.

Hand built and painted Chaos Titan at Phoenix games, because we have the coolest players here. Thanks Kyle and Ian for bringing such a cool piece to the shop for a Apocalypse game
My chaos photo is of random buttons that my mom had. I chose this because you gave this example in class. What I like about this photo is the different colors and size buttons add more to the chaos. What I dislike is how it does not scream chaos, but it was the best I could do.
Normal rules don't apply when you are crossing the roads in Vietnam, especially the bigger cities like Hanoi and Saigon. Soon you learn to negotiate your way through incoming traffic. If you don't adapt, you get stuck in the same spot forever!! But no amount of internet research will prepare you for the initial shock.......
Below is an excerpt from wikitravel on how to cross roads in Hanoi:
Like everywhere else in Vietnam, traffic in Hanoi is dominated by an incredible number of motorbikes, all of which seem to be making a mad, desperate dash for something just out of reach — all of the time. All the while blowing their horns incessantly. In other words, pedestrian traffic can be overwhelming for visitors, especially in the narrow streets around the Old Quarter. When you leave the curb, look not only both ways but left, right, back and front, and take each step slowly and patiently allowing them to pass because even an eye contact is not enough with the oncoming drivers and actually before you know it, someone is also on your back since there is no such thing as one-directional traffic in Vietnam. The key word here is slowly — don't rush. This way the drivers are aware of you, and can take you into account (along with all of the other motorbikes). It may look, and indeed is somewhat chaotic, but be patient and pay attention when you're crossing any street, large or small, and you should be fine. Definitely, the streets of Hanoi has no place for faint hearted people, with hypertension and heart problems on top of the disabled and the old.
To me, this represents chaos (although the happy kind). This is my husband watching the Sochi Winter Games on TV while my sons are being my sons. We were spending the weekend at a friend's out of state, so I didn't think to bring my tripod with me. I had to take 20 to 30 shots before getting this one, and even then I still had to edit it. (The boys were all too happy to oblige jumping off the sofa again and again). I cropped this picture using Pixlr and also increased the sharpness to 60. Things I would have changed: brought along my tripod, removed the lamp pole and TV table in the background/lower right corner and maybe used better lighting.
orientation 2010. this is when all the newbies were being commanded to rush all the way to the center court.

Another picture of me messing around with manual exposure and a flashlight. I thought way the light is blurred was pretty chaotic which is the reason for the title.
Guzzi V50, named Aeris - a derivation of Eris the goddess of chaos. This one was first registered on April fools day - and that say's it all really.
This is an image of my desk...right now at this moment. It's 9:20pm. I'm at work. If I count the hours before school gets out, and look at my To Do list...there aren't enough hours.
Yet, as I'm mentally exhausted, all I REALLY have energy for is to check Flicr, guzzle some Dew, and try not to have a panic attack.
Maybe my next procrastination appointment will have to be a photo of my To Do list... ugh...
Lord, help me find the time, the energy, and the ability to do it all on very little sleep. He is my source and my strength, because I can't do it on my own.
