The snowstorm that came through the Northeast on Saturday brought with it chaos and beauty. This is how I see it - chaos and beauty.

Nicht nur auf der viel gescholtenen Marschbahn kommt es zu Chaos, auch unsere nördlichen Nachbarn beherrschen dieses Handwerk ganz gut.
Bei meinem Besuch an der Strecke Næstved-Køge kames mit fortschreiten des Tages zu teilweise enormem Verspätungen und Zugausfällen.
Grund war ein Messzug der auf der durch den 30 Minuten takt eh schon belastete Strecke für Stau sorgte.
Mit 4 Kreuzungsmöglichkeiten auf knapp 40 Kilometern war hier nicht viel Spielraum zum improvisieren.
Der hier gezeigte Regiozug nach Nykøbing hatte kurz vor Haslev schon 45 Minuten Verspätung und viel ab Næstved dann aus.
Auch das letzte Bild des Tages in Rødby viel dem Chaos zum Opfer den die DSB strich die Nachmittäglichen und abendlichen Verbinden in den Süden ersatzlos.

Arne Quinze - Natural Chaos
The fifth edition of the International Sculpture Biennial Amsterdam, ARTZUID 2017, takes place from 19 May – 17 September, 2017. Curator Rudi Fuchs presents 65 abstract sculptures of post war artists on the Apollolaan, Minervalaan, Churchilllaan and the Zuidas business district. ARTZUID 2017 follows the theme year Mondrian to Dutch Design – 100 Years of De Stijl ands shows the influence of the Dutch art movement De Stijl on post war Dutch sculpture.
Arne Quinze is a Belgian conceptual artist best known for his unconventional and controversial public art installations.

Pas très connu, il est très facile d'accès par rapport à d'autres chaos granitiques bretons car il est situé en pleine campagne ouverte.
"Au nord-est de la commune, près du village de Kermarc, se trouve le chaos de Mardoul où la rivière Ellez prend un aspect étrange.
Parsemé de roches en granit, ce lieu a servi de gué depuis l’antiquité et les traces de passages très anciens sont encore visibles. On peut traverser la rivière en passant de rochers en rochers mais également en empruntant la passerelle ou le vieux pont de pierre près du moulin de Mardoul.
Not very well known, it is very easy to access compared to other granite chaos in Brittany because it is located in open countryside.
"To the north-east of the commune, near the village of Kermarc, is the chaos of Mardoul where the river Ellez takes on a strange appearance.
Scattered with granite rocks, this place has served as a ford since antiquity and traces of very ancient passages are still visible. You can cross the river by going from rock to rock but also by taking the footbridge or the old stone bridge near the Mardoul mill.

Last night my city continued with a planned fireworks show to honor the front-line heroes of Covid19. Salt Lake City had a curfew because of the rioting happening. It was strange to sit and watch them with so much chaos in the city.
Today I was very deliberate in choosing the color red and the quote to accompany it. Though the chaos caused by the rioting is not beautiful the fires and burning anger are supposed to be represented. The tensions need to cool and the agitators stirring up the violence and causing destruction need to be held accountable. How is this going to end? The nightly curfews? Tear gas, rubber bullets? How did we get here? I have no answers and feel powerless.
