"I'm not your paranoia
When someone's at the door
There's a fast calling out of a throat
of a body rising through the floor"
This picture was inspired by the Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness. Those books are amazing, read them sometime.
I hope all of you had a great Black Friday. I kind of did. We didn't go all out and wait outside of stores all night. But I wish I did, that would be an awesome experience. One reason why i don't really like Black Friday is that it is so overstimulating. Do you know what I mean? Just all of a sudden I'm not thinking of any thing and stupidly staring at crazy ladies running around Target. I think my way of dealing with that stuff is just my brain shutting down and me spacing out.
Day 1 of the Chaos-Forgeworld:
Need to repair and finish my Chaos-Titan for the upcoming Apocalypse Re-Release + my personal challange... will "flickrblog" about the progress.
Old Brickshelf Rescue pic.
The three figures in the back are Chaos Demons, found on my website. They are powerful beings capable of pyrokinesis (the mental control of fire) as well as a few other tricks. The fellow with the shoulder armor is a new type of Chaos Demon, the Chaos Warlord. He is of superior rank and power to normal Chaos Demons, though they rarely are seen outside of magical realms. The large creature next to the Chaos Warlord is their favored pet, the Razorback. This demon boar is a powerful, permanently angry beast, who would so much as disembowel you as look at you.
Here is a work in progress on my Chaos Sorcerer. Really like the idea of the seperation of brains and brawn as seen in Mad Max 3 - Master Blaster.
So for my sorcerer I used the standard plague priest, with no modifications at all. Being tiny compared to the rest of my Chaos Skaven - I imagined that this guy in order to combat being bullied created himself the muscle/brawn.
Like the obliterators - part machine, part organic - this time brought to life via the sorcerer it has to carrry around and obey.

Here, "Sovereign".
The basis of the paint scheme for Sovereign was designed to be a simple, quick and easy paint job. Using a Citadel Spray Gun, I applied coats of Leadbelcher and Nuln Oil, to give a quick basecoat, before adding the black paint to the centre-line armour plates. Instead of the usual gold, I decided, for speed's sake, to only apply a coat of Balthasar's Gold, instead of the full mix of paints that I usually apply
Non affiliated marine here with the lightening claws, plan to do something different with the other one I have I like how this one has come out especially his daemon on his shoulder pad.
I’ve always thought The Chaos Dwarf Fireglaives were a rather unique and menacing addition to Warhammer fantasy.
This build:
-Helmet: backward Death Star Gunner helm.
-Pauldrons: from @brickwarriors
-Fireglaive: heavily modified Voulge from @brickwarriors
-Every else sculpted with some misc kitbashes.
This is my second (of at least 3) Chaos Dwarf units. They’ve been a really fun series so far. Find out more about this unit’s lore here:

Here, the Forgefiend "Atlas", as well as Saren Arterius, the HQ for the army and a part of Lawson's Squad
Operation: Paint All The Things continues with a little bit of Dark Vengeance.
The colours & effects on this guy were inspired by bruises, sickness, corruption and that one place I used to live in Fenham.

Here, the Forgefiend "Atlas". Atlas was the second new model to be added to the army, built and painted over the course of several weeks. The Hades Autocannons used are pinned onto the model, so they can be replaced with Ectoplasm cannons when needed. However, this has the side effect of making them rotate about the pins when not held in place. The Cities of Death ruins are used to keep the right Autocannon, which is the most freely moving, upright, while the left has sufficient resistance to not move unless pushed.
See, Maths courses do come in handy!
