Nach 111 Jahren im Dienste der Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen Mürren (BLM) auf der Strecke Grütschalp – Mürren verlässt der Ce 2/4 11 die herrliche Bergwelt für immer.
Impressionen von der spektakulären Abschlussfahrt mit dem Castor von der Winteregg nach Lauterbrunnen.
Der älteste Triebwagen der Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen Mürren mit Baujahr 1913 wird im Verkehrshaus Luzern der Nachwelt erhalten.

"Serial no. S161 208. A very original example, fitted with front pick-up hitch and front weights. The vendor states that this tractor is running and driving and has came from a 40-acre farm, used originally for ploughing and power harrowing. It shows 6,900 hours."
Sold for £6800.
CF&E 5597, a former CP SD40-2, leads the daily CFE road freight back through Dolton after completing work at IHB's Blue Island Yard.
CFE 3885 struggles to drag its 31 loads for King Milling uphill out of Grand Rapids. The train is passing the former Grand Trunk station on its second run of the day out to Lowell.

CFE 4038, a former CSX Dash 8, leads a very late run of CFE's daily manifest FWCH, meeting a eastbound IHB autorack train waiting to head into Gibson Yard, in Calumet City, IL
IORY 4036 passes the former location of the Tower and diamond with the Monon Michigan City branch, now home to an ex NKP caboose on display on the old right of way.
From May 20, 2021, CFE FWCH is seen passing the Pennsy Depot. The 111+ year old depot was the 3rd station built on the site, and today it is owned by the City of Hobart, having been deeded to the city for one dollar by Conrail. It has been preserved and is on the National Register of Historical Places. Today the building is in use by the Hobart Chamber of Commerce.
After hearing the detector at MP 409 go off, we check the CF&E mainline, and we see a headlight approaching. A few minutes later, this CF&E GP38-2 leads their Fort Wayne to Valparaiso local west through rural La Porte County
