Hello all my lovely flickr contacts, just want to share this with you. My 59th birthday today and just took this quick shot, had far too much wine to take photo's as you can tell, but happy birthday to me. Had to have big celebrations as not sure I will wish to celebrate one beginning with a 6.

Juneteenth Celebration in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, CA. Thousands of people gathered together for a day of celebration in which in 1865 did slaves in Texas found out they were free, however the Emancipation Proclamation issued by President Lincoln was in 1863. This moment is even more powerful this year, because the entire world has been in an uproar to fight back against the injustices from police brutality against black people. People want change and they have time and time again shown up in numbers to make it known, this time is no different.

Walking through the entrance to platforms at Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Railway station, travellers and visitors can turn left to the platforms that still operate as such, or they can explore platforms 1 to 5 where beautifully restored/preserved locomotives and rolling stock from Thailand's rich rail history are displayed. The floral archway features real flowers!

Its a double celebration for one lucky lady!! Birthday & Graduation. This cake played havoc wit me!! GGrrrr its been so humid and hot in Auckland over the last few days and none of my decorations were drying and covering the cake was just a NIGHTMARE!! Anyhow got it done in the end!! Thank goodness for decorations to cover imprefections. This is part of a cupcake towe with cute mini cupcakes.
This cake is part me and part inspiration from the very clever Andrea's Sweetcake. Just love her work and her style =)
